Ok well I have been super stressed about this whole wedding thing! FMIL driving me crazy about her guest list! Originally she said she had A LOT of people to invite my room at JT only holds 125 comfortably! She was trying to invite 150 people all by herself! I was going to switch to a room that holds a minimum of 150 ppl The Penthouse Room. I don't think that is going to happen. She realized she has to pay for those people she is not inviting 150 ppl! Anyways after being sooo stressed out I decided FH and I need a break from this wedding stuff! We want to revisit the photography/videography and DJ's until then anyone think that is wrong?

There is nothing wrong with that at all. U still have plenty of time so if your stressed then def take your much needed break. You dont want your wedding planning to be a miserable experiece. Hope your FMIL gets better lol..

FH and I had booked JT, after talking abotu what we wanted we realized it didnt fit us. We started to stress out and it was not good. My mother takes me from zero to 100 easily so we took a step back. we decided to enjoy being engaged, we have a lot of time left so there is really no rush. I think taking some time for your guys is a great idea, the wedding will still be there but when your ready to tackle it from a better perspective.

i think its fine. most people plan their wedding in half the time we are giving ourselves. maybe a little time away will give everyone some time to think and put everything in perspective.

I think it is a good idea to take a break. One day you will want to pick up the planning where you left off and it will be fun again!!!

Thanks guys! We are glad we are taking a break cause gives us time to think about what we want and don't want for our wedding. We are going to Fire Island tomorrow for FH 30th Birthday and think that is exactly what we need a little R n R!!!

Enjoy Fire Island - definitely good to get away some times. It's always good to step back and take a breath and come back to things when you know exactly what you want :)

enjoy FI and take a break for yourself! We have so much time, that we should never feel stressed.. this is all supposed to be fun! breeeeeaaaathhhhhheeee come to the G2G and we can all share our wedding woes!

No not at all ... I feel the same ways slot of the time a goof break is good sometimes and don't let your FMIL get in the way ... It's your wedding not hers

I would definitely take a step back--it should still be enjoyable! When it gets that stressful--you definitely have to remove yourself for a bit!
