taking pics during the cocktain hour after the reception

Hi ladies,
Congats to all.
My concern at the moment, is photo time. Does anyone know the reality of taking and receiving beautiful photo's within the 60 minute cocktail hour. This hour is to include the photo's of the B&G, family, and wedding Party? As of right now, my fiance and I don't want to see each other before the ceremony which taked place at out RH. Feedback please.....

Well, from what my photographer and wedding planner have told me, you need a good hour to take pictures. If your wedding party is organized and doesn't wander off, you can get it done in 45 minutes. They said sometimes it takes 2 hours because people walk away to talk to people. This is the schedule they told me they would follow if everything goes according to plans:

330-4: ceremony
4-430: pictures outside the church (another wedding is schedule at 5)
430-515: travel time to RH
515-615: pictures

*My cocktail hour starts at 630. We really want to be there for the cocktail hour, so we are not going to go to a specific location to take pictures. Our RH has beautiful landscape outside and beautiful decor inside, so we are not too worried. There are plenty of opportunities to take pictures.

I am also getting married at JT and we are seeing each other before the ceremony, like 1 and 1/2 hours before it begins so we have time to rehearse and 1/2 of the cocktail hour.

we wanted to see each other before to relieve anxiety and this worked perfect for us...

hmmm I think you guys should see eachother before hand.. alot of brides do that now htast what we plan on doing..
