I have lived with my FH for almost two years...we are so taking pics pre-ceremony. I want to be able to spend time with my family and friends after the ceremony. I don't want to miss a minute!
Mee too me too!!

Re: Taking Pictures before Ceremony?
I think your decision on whether or not to take pics before or after ceremony, depends on a couple of things:1. Do you care about attending your CH?
2. Are you traditional/superstitious?
3. What's more important? Daytime pics or following tradition?
I have been wrestling this decision for the last couple of days, and although I do think that if you want to attend your CH, u should take pics before, I on the other hand had no intentions of attending CH anyway. My bridal attendant is going to tend to us and our WP.
My issue was since I am getting married in the fall, I really wanted to capture the leaves and colors. I figured I am going to take as many pics as I can with BP and family, and same with him at another location. And then pics with FH after ceremony. (We are also renewing our vows now as of today on our HM, sunset on the island, so there will be beautiful pics of outside then.)
Depends on bride and groom

Re: Taking Pictures before Ceremony?
I was all for my FH not seeing me before the wedding but now that we have talked about it at length, we decided that we are going to meet beforehand and take pics at the beach in northport. I'm a 'photo' nut and want tons of pics.. plus, I want to be able to spend time with my guests at the CH.

Re: Taking Pictures before Ceremony?
Honestly, there is no way I would have been ready to take pictures at 9:30am! We were barely ready at 1pm! We had a 3pm wedding and a 6pm cocktail hour. By the time the Mass was over and we did the receiving line and petal toss it was almost 5pm. It worked out perfectly, because we only missed 1/2 hour of the cocktail hour.I wouldn't change a thing. There was nothing like the suspense and seeing my husbands face when I walked in the door of the church. Everyone is different. You should do what you feel most comfortable with.
