I am having a hard time finding shoes but I have cute gold shoes at home with a 4 inch heel. If I wear them I am the exact same height as FH with dress shoes on. Would you girls look for a 3 inch heel so he is at least a tiny bit taller or just wear what you have?

I wore shoes with a 1/2 inch heel because DH and I are the same height. I say go with what you are most comfortable wearing. No one paid any attention that DH and I were the same height and you can't see it in the photos.

Thanks. I am having a 'big' hairdo so I guess I will look taller anyway. I would love a 2-3 inch heel but I am an 11+ shoes size and have trouble finding thing I like. Normally I am ok with the 4 inches I guess I am just obsessing - lol!

I would just wear what you have...if you're a tiny bit taller than FH, would he have a fit? If not, I wouldn't worry about it. I'm taller than FH all the time lol, so at least you have some options, although we're shoe size twins and it's impossible to find anything remotely cute in an 11, I hear you on that.

im 5'7 and FH is 6 foot - I got 2 1/2 inch heels for the wedding - I wanted as much of a gap as humanely possible - thats just for the ceremony, I bought myself the most adorable slippers for everything else that wont have my feet on camera

I'm a quarter inch taller than FH.
I'm wearing flats and getting him some type of insert for his shoes. I am having a slight poof to my hair and I want us to be the same height...I don't want to be taller.
It's up to you- you guys have enough of a height gap where you wont tower even if you wear the 4 inchers.

Thanks for the responses girls. I guess I will keep an eye open the next two weeks and if no magical size 11 shoes pops up I will live with being the same height or a little taller than fh. I guess it really is no big deal.
maybe I should ask him if he cares -lol!

Hello. I am 5'11' and my FH is 6'2. I personally LOVE being tall, but I know that I don't want to look the same height as him in my album. Two of my bridesmaids (I have three) are 5'2', so I already stand out enough :). It's definitely what you feel comfortable in--after all, it is YOUR wedding day!

my hubby and i are the same height without heels. I wore a low heel. they were great!! got mine at kleinfelds. goood luck!!

I am having a similar height problem my Fh is only 3 inches taller than I am. Check out my glass slipper and bridal shoes.com they carry several brands that come in size 11.
