I agree, I go spray tanning and if you go to the right place, you definitely get a nice golden natural looking color. Plus you only have to go once before the wedding!
do you go to a place where they airbrush you or the little room that sprays you?
i heard that pale ppl get orange..i should test it beforehand

I've tried the mytic booths that spray you and you definitely get orange and uneven. I actually go somewhere where they airbrush you. It's Brazil Bronze and I've been to two locations: 1. 580 Broadway (b/w Prince & Houston) 2. 20 Park Place in Great Neck Both locations are great, but if you go to the one in the city (which is the original one) have Sally the owner spray you, she is AMAZING.

i do spray tanning and i dont get stains on my clothes - sometimes if i ask him to spray me extra dark and i wear a white bra the next day there is some that rubs off - but that comes out in the wash....if you spray tan 2 days before i dont think you'll have a problem - thats what im doing.....and if it does stain the inside of my dress im not worried b/c its the inside of the dress that nobody will see anyway.....i want to go tanning at a tanning salon a few times before the wedding so that i dont burn on my HM and so that im not pale for my HM - the spray tan washes off in a few days and comes right off in chlorine.....so im going to do tanning at the salon a few times and then spray tan 2 days before the wedding....im not supposed to go tanning but its my wedding and HM and i just cant help myself.....

I am actually going to start 2nd week of this month. I want to get a nice base tan and I've doen it before for my cruise, and it took some time.

That's exactly what I plan on doing.. getting a base tan so that I don't burn on my HM but then going spray tanning two days before. I've done the spray tanning for so many wedding/parties and I never ruined any of my dresses/clothes. Like you said if a little gets on the inside, no biggy, and it does wash out!

I think that if you want to go tanning, you should start as early as possible so that you could start on a low level and space it out so you don't burn, and then slowly build yourself up. If you wait till too close till your wedding, you will burn if you try to go too often and on too high of a level. I would actually suggest starting now at like once a week or every other week for a month, see how you react to it, then increase it as you see fit. That would probably be the safest thing for someone who burns easily! (I know, I do too!)

I am really pale. I had to wear 2 brown bridesmaid dresses and the spray tan saved my life. I will be doing it again for my wedding. I went to Hollywood Tan. It came out great! It wasn't expensive, but I don't remember exactly how much it was, sorry!
idk, i've never gone to a salon to tan b4. i am from the islands but light and i am scared of salons. i dont want it to look like i went to a salon. i am going to PR like 3 wks b4 to get crisp so i don't have my winter paleness. fh was like oh plz!

i def. dont suggest tanning .......the makeup artist dosent either ..have her put some bronzer she can fix you up dont tan anything can happen like it being uneven and that looks worse then being pale JMO

I tan pretty easily so I'm not sure with everyone's different skin type. But I think you should go in and talk to someone that works there. They really do know best and they can give you a good idea of when to come and how many times. Also if you want to try the spray tan you should try it out way before and make sure it's something you like!

I would start in March... go like once a week for the first 2 weeks then twice a week, then 3 times. Start out going in for like 8-10 minutes then 10-12, then 12-15. (or whatever they tell you- it depends how strong the bulbs are) Don't go with the strongest or the weakest- do somewhere in the middle And I would do a stand up, not a bed so you dont get tan lines. Talk to the people that work at the tanning salon- they'll be able to help you.

I am going to go tanning.... I've done the spray tan (airbrush) and it's just not perfect. Really like it- but I like the more even tan (it doesn't get your feet/ hands perfect if you are really white.
I'm going to start tanning in April at the salon... The first weekend in May I'm going to Florida for 4 days (company incentive trip I won) and am taking MOH. We will relax, go to the spa and get tan
