So I went to the dermatologist today and got 2 creams and anti-biotic b/c my face has been breaking out like crazy.
The anti-biotic has a warning sticker on it that says to limit sun exposure (including tanning beds). One of the creams has a sticker on it that says to just stay out of sunlight.
I've been trynig to stay tan (going to the tanning bed) for my epics. I'm really pale and wearing white so I want to look nice.
Would it be bad for my skin if I kept tanning? What type of side effects could i get from tanning, if its just an antibiotic?? What if I put a towel on my face when I tanned? The makeup person can always make my face darker right?
I dont want to look really pasty and white for my pics. Anyone know the answers to these?
PS: I am NOT doing spray tans or tan in a bottle.

yeah i wouldnt reccomend it. If they put u on an oral antibiotic that means it will effect you everywhere!!!! and that side effect is no JOKE!!! It makes your skin SUPER SENSITIVE i learned first hand twice!!!!
I got my eye brows waxed and my skin came off with it!!! and thinking it would only effect my face because i was using cream, 2 weeks later i went and got a BRAZILIAN WAX!!!!!!
OMG DIANNA

Ok girls, thanks so much for all of your honest input. I needed some honesty to kick myself back into gear. I think I'll suck it up and try spray tanning and see how that goes. That being said, can anyong reccomend their place/have prices? Also, how long do spray tans usually last?
Thanks again girls for being honest with me

Brazil Bronze has locations in Long Island as well. I actually just called one of the numbers loolll and found out info for you. It runs anywhere from 40-60 dollars depending on the location.. and lasts a week. You are not allowed to shower 8-12 hrs after your tan and it does not leave you looking orange at all.. If you google Reviews on brazil bronze glow tan/bar... a bunch of reviews will come up and there are girls who are writing great reviews who are pale!! lol Hope it helps girl.

Maybe I'm weird, but I have never had any reaction to tanning while using face creams and antibiotics...I dont see you getting bad from it, maybe go once now, see how you react and judge what you should do.
If your really afraid to tan, I have an AWESOME face tanner, tanning body lotion AND spray tan...The face tanner really gave my face color in a few hours and I didnt break out from it at all, which is a very rare occurance when I use tanning lotions...Let me know...

I would avoid the tanning beds for a while and just rely on makeup if you think you're still too pale before youe epics... why risk it?

I wouldn't do it. I religiusly follow warnings on labels. They are there for a reason. You could damage your skin, cause blotches, etc. Not worth it.

I went to brazil bronze in Great Neck ..... they were awesome. Its cost $50 for the whole body. I bleieve her name was racheal or rochelle. She was so sweet. I loved the way it came out. You can go dark, like you just got home from the caribbean or light, with just a glow. I would highly recommend them

Re: tanning dilenma!
I have done spray tans at Beach Bum Tanning and i loved it.
i did both the mystic and the airbrush. Airbrush is a little more $$ and u have to go basically naked in front of the person but it goes on better and they can mix a color for you (mystic is only one color).
either way i would say to do it 2 days before your pics so that by ur pics the tan is settled in and looks natural. It will last about a week or so.

Re: tanning dilenma!
my dermatologist says 'NO Tanning Beds it will make you breakout more' and it is so bad for your skin.
