Tanning to get SLIGHT color for the wedding?

I had some nice color on my arms this summer. It's starting to fade and I just want to maintain what I have for the wedding and fix some tan lines. If I go tanning once a week starting 30 days before the wedding, is that enough? How long should I tan for so that I do not get burned? 5 mins? I DO NOT want to be brown, just a nice light tan color.

I also have some psoriasis and I figure this will help it!!!!

It all depends on what booth you use. If you use the standup go in for about 5-7 minutes if you dont want to brown too much and only a couple of times a week. I have psoriasis which is why i go more often to try to keep it in check.(not working too well with all this stress though,)

Not sure if you saw my note above about me having psoriasis.... it s u c k s right now. I went to a tanning salon two years ago for like three months and it didn't help at all. (3 mins at a time, 3x a week, got no color either) My scalp right now is soooo bad. I went from dec-march for shots at my derm - amevive - and they really did nothing either. UGH sooooo frustrating. I am turning to alternative treatments now - tumeric, fish oil, etc. we'll see. I feel your pain.

just becareful!! i dont know how much darker you are then you tan lines but i had come home from te bahamas a month before my wedding and i bought an unlimited month package to try and get rid of the lines....well after going way more then i would have liked to i STILL even 3 months after have the lines! you may want to ask the salon what they recommend....i di but she didnt seem like she cared much!!

Thanks. I had a slight line on the back of my shoulder area - it's a strap line but I think it's from a tank top ... I am not sure how to fill it in ... i heard about these olay wipe things that are tanning wipes ... maybe I try those first, I can put them only in the area i have the line.

yeahh try to catch the lighter area up to the darker area then tan!!
