Our BM Sharon told us that we could only do a tasting of CH food. Did anyone do it and if so how many people did you bring? How far from your wedding did you book it?

i booked crest hollow on wednesday and did my food tasting on saturday afternoon. i'm not sure how often they do tastings though b/c they set up a table in one of the offices. i brought my fiance and his mother. i believe you are allowed to bring 4 people. we were really concerned about the food b/c we've never been to an event there. the food was delicious. we weren't able to try any of the main entrees, but we did try the cold display, about 8 - 10 hors d'oeuvres and about 5 of the hot chafing dishes. everything was great. i'm so happy i'm having my wedding there.

Thanks! I'll contact my BM and see what she says - would be nice to try the food!
I've only ever gone to a corporate event there and the food was pretty good so I'm content with my choice too
so glad there is another CHCC bride around my date!

i am going to call and try to see if i can do it this weekend or in a few weeks . I am not bringing any one though. at this point we are already booked . I don't want to hear who likes the food and who doesn't. they'll eat it the day of the wedding, we have too many complainers!

leesah - who is your BM? they'll def let you do a tasting, but my BM said that most people that book at CH have already been to events there so they don't need tastings. i guess i'm one of the select few that hasn't. either way, i'm so happy!
FutureMrsDe - there are always going to be complainers, but as long as you and your fiance are happy, who cares?!

When we went for our tasting before we booked we brought dh's parents and my mom, so we had 5 people in total. We only had ch food as well... No entrees or desserts. They brought out a ton of food and we got a feel for how their food is.
