DH has now called the guy twice about this and he still hasnt gotten back to us. I did my taxes on Feb. 22 so they should atleast be coming up on the irs website and they arent it keeps telling me that I must have made a mistake because they have no record of my taxes. Last year we e-filed and asked for direct deposit and it didnt come because he neglected to tell us that our return was over the amount allowed for direct deposit so we had to wait for the corrections to be made and have it mailed and we still got it within 4wks. and it was listed within a week on irs.gov. Im never using this guy again I dont care what DH says. Every year my return gets smaller and my fee gets bigger!
You should really considering switching accountants.

Myth: Everyone is eligible for a stimulus payment.
Fact: Lots of people aren’t going to get it. People who have less than $3,000 in qualifying income who wouldn’t otherwise file a return, “nonresident aliens,” people who don’t have a valid Social Security number, those who can be claimed as dependents on someone else’s return, and anyone who files a Form 1040NR, Form 1040PR or Form 1040SS are not eligible. Also, anyone with an income above the level at which the stimulus payment gradually reduces until it is phased out will not get a stimulus payment. Phase-out income levels begin at $75,000 for a single head of household or $150,000 for married filing jointly.
Anyone that makes over $75k as a single head of household will get a partial refund - hence the phase-out

you need to switch out your accountant---sounds like he's doing a bad job
i don't understand what he was talking about saying that you couldn't get it Direct Deposited because it was over an 'amount allowed' -- um did you get like a $10K refund?? even that amount can be direct deposited--so he sounds like he doesn't know what he's talking about.
i do taxes -- and sometimes the IRS website takes a while with returns that are mailed...it can get confusing...some people's info is processed and online faster---while others are not.
hope you get your taxes soon---and if you have any questions---feel free to FM me!
