Re: Taxes

I have a wonderful tax guy that I go to and I can't wait to get my taxes done! Last time I paid $75 and I got back a lot of money.

H&R charges are determined by how much you make... and it's not like you can lie! Ha ha ha!

I use turbo tax and I do them myself. I usually get the money pretty quickly!

Re: Taxes

if you dont have any deductions then I would just use taxslayer or turbotax. I have done my taxes the last 3 years in a row and the only deductions I have a student loan interest and from my timeshare. The first year I thought about doing it online, I got all my info, went to the accountant he got the same answer I did so I decided to just do them on my own now.

Re: Taxes

do NOT use h&r block!!!! they charged me 256$ last yr! anddddddddd i helped the guy do my taxes!!

they are such ripoffs.. im def doing my own taxes this yr.

Re: Taxes

I'll still get a fair amount back doing it my own right? I mean, I don't want to risk not getting the full amount back. How much is turbo tax to buy? This is getting frustrating! LOL. I don't wnat to wait 6 months for my money again LOL

Re: Taxes

i didnt know doing ur own taxes vs. hiring an accountant affects the amount u get back.??

everything is done in steps with #'s.. u just fill in the blanks, really.

Re: Taxes

I get a small fortune back, because I pay a small fortune in taxes!

When is the date that you have to get your W2's by, anyone know? I want to make my appt today because my guy fills up quickly!

Also I pay $275, now that I see what you guys pay I feel like i'm getting ripped off!!!!!!!! hahaha
