Does anyone have any suggestions of how to invite high school students to the church? I would really like to invite them, but am not sure about how to go about it. Thanks!

Re: Teacher invinting High School Students
There was a thread about this a few months back.... maybe you could do a search. but a lot of teachers (mainly elementary teachers, but I am sure you could modify the ideas) posted ideas about fliers, poems, invites, etc. that they made to creatively invite students to the ceremony only.

umm, I think that a few that I read about just included the church invitation and did not include reception cards.

as a teacher, if i were to invite students i would just tell them the info, let them write it down and pass along the info, you don't need to send them a formal invitation

i would just make up a nice flyer of some sort with all the info and give them out to your students..... you can get all sort of cute 8 x 10 paper at office max or staples or places like that...

Re: Teacher invinting High School Students
My teaching partner is getting married in August and decided to buy nice little cards and type up all the church information on it and hand it out to the students and parents so that if they decide to come they have the information.

I plan to invite my students also. A girl that I work with did this and printed out an invite on Word and gave it to each student. It said 'You're invited to see Ms. _______ get married'

I agree. The teachers that I know of have just done it by word of mouth and that's how I plan on doing it too.

Re: Teacher invinting High School Students
A few years ago my sister's teacher got married and she just wrote the date, time and location of teh church on pretty computer paper. It was inexpensive and the kids felt like they had a special invite.

Re: Teacher invinting High School Students
We had an extra set of invitations (the info was write but they made a mistake with the font) so i gave them out to my students.
If you do a search though there are definetly threads on this with poems and little sayings you could put together for the kids on nice paper... or like someone else said, just put the info on the board and let them write it down.
