Thank you all sooo much! I really appreciate all of your responses, and I have about three tables from work as it is, I love them, especially my paras!!! I absolutely agree that it is a nice gesture to invite them! Now the next barrier, where do I send their invitation to? lol!!!

Ask everyone for their address... thats what I did. Send it to their house like you would for everybody else.

I will be inviting my principal and AP to my wedding. Who knows if they will come though...

Re: Teachers: Invite Principals/APS????

Do you get a district-wide address directory? My district gives us the names and home addresses of every teacher, aide, administrator, and custodian in the district, so that's where I got the addresses for my director and my colleagues.

I guess if you're in the city, that's an impossibility. . .

08er crashing...I'm in a middle school in two different depts and I invited my principal, two APs, the Dean and my 2 chairs. None of them came (two didn't even send my back their RSVPs :-< ) but I got a nice gift from my principal. I did it more out of respect... I didn't expect them to come but I felt I did the right thing by inviting them. I had three tables of my friends/colleagues though

Paras...yet another thing for me, once again one of the few times I wish I was a classroom teacher, I basically work with alll the paras in the school...where would it end!!!! AHHHHHH I think I am going to keep it to people I eat lunch with lol, thats it!! Another teacher in my school who I am not that close with just got married, maybe I will ask her opinion about the principals.....and I am curious about the where to send thing too, just in case eeek

Ihave teachers who just got married at my school too. Some invited, some did not... I will ask opinions as well and keep me posted on anything you hear! The whole para thing has me crazy though! I have worked with some for more than one year, others I am still close to, it is craziness!!! =)

Fh's father was a superintendent of schools... just retired actually. I asked him. He's been everything from teacher up to superintendent. He said no... no need to invite.
