I am not sure if this topic has been addressed, but I was wondering if anyone was planning on enhancing the color of their teeth or have done so already.
If you have or will, which brand would you consider?

Re: Teeth whitening
Alot of people DONT agree with me about this ( on these boards anyway) but I work in a dentist office and all I can say is dont use them!!! that stuff is sooo bad for your teeth. The way they get them white is to break down the enamel that protects your tooth. Making you MUCH more suseptible to lots of horrible teeth problems. The best thing is to go to bright smile or a dentists office for it. Plus the results are instant.

Re: Teeth whitening
A close friend of mine is a cosmetic dentist he is doing the whitening and bonding, I don't need it but I want a perfect glowing smile, I'm unsure of pricing (free for me)...I also have a bleaching kit he gave me for home use, but its best to get your teeth in order first, cavities, cleaning, etc. Good luck.

Re: Teeth whitening
I got a kit from my dentist and it made a nice difference - my teeth were pretty white to begin with but my smile was def. brighter after a couple of applications.
I think it was in the $200 range for the kit that included enough gel for a few weeks but I didn't need all of it at first so I used it for touch ups after the wedding.
BEST piece of advice I received - switch to sensodyne toothpaste. My teeth got super sensitive when I wore the trays.

Re: Teeth whitening
I bought simply white and did it once and hated it.
So I got a tube of Arm & Hammer baking soda, whitening, something or other ...

Re: Teeth whitening
I used Opelesance (sp) I got it from my dentist and it works awesome!! The only thing is - is that it makes your teeth extremly sensitive while you are in the bleeching process - but it is worth the torture - it costs about $300

Re: Teeth whitening
I agree...do it at the dentist. Use the dentist to get your impressions, custom bleaching trays, and kit with bleach syringes. They'll usually give you more than enough bleach for a couple weeks of use, which will definitely make your teeth MUCH whiter. I think it's usually about $300. I used NiteWhite when I first got it done many years ago. Now, if I want a touch up, I use the original trays and buy new bleach online from britewhite.com (there seem to be a ton of online stores selling this stuff now, but britewhite is the one I've been using and it seems OK).
