Hi everybody...my mom is interested in having her teeth whitened and I was wondering if it really worked, how much it will cost and what you'd recommend. She was wondering if BriteSmile was worth the money and was told it was $500. Thanks...

Re: Teeth whitening
I used to work for a dentist, so here's the scoop: All whitening procedures, be it strips or the inoffice procedures will make your teeth sensative. Just use Sensodyne while using the strips and that will make the sensetivity lessen if not go way completely. And the strips will work as well as the expensive treatments. Just remember to take it easy on foods that will stain your teeth, like black coffee, red wines and sauses, blueberrys and the like.

Re: Teeth whitening
I am using the Crest Whitstrips now, and my fiance recognized results in 2 days, and my teeth are already white. They do make your teeth sensitive, so I just stopped for a day or two, and will start up again. Definitely reccomended!

Re: Teeth whitening
First, what is Bright Smile?
Second, I just went to the dentist today to have molds made for whitening trays. I was using the strips but wanted to try the dentist. It was $375. They also have tough-up kits you can purchase.
