Re: Teeth whitening...

I wanted to get them done professionally, but it's not in the budget as I thought it would be.. so I think I am going to try the crest white strips and see what happens..

I am going to get the laser whitening done at my dentist. I have tried the crest white strips and they didn't work, and I thought they hurt...although he did tell me the laser whitening makes your teeth sensitive for a little while, and you cannot eat red stuff, or anything with dark colored dye in it, not even tomatoes or sauce He said look at the food, and if it is not a color that you want your teeth..then don't eat it, for I believe a month after you have the whitening done.

I guess it'll be a good way to lose weight

I used Crest Whitestripes and they worked. Be ready for your teeth to be a little sensitive but it's worth it in the end. I'm going to used them before my wedding too.

My teeth are toooo sensitive and I am scared, they say it gives you zingers and I could not deal with those! I am a big baby.

Re: Teeth whitening...

Crest white strips didn't work well for me but the REMBRANT kit did-it has these little plastic trays you 'melt' in hot water to comfort fit your mouth. Closer to the professional dentist whitening. People commented on the difference for a long time because it really looked good lol my DENTIST accused me of getting it done at another office.

One thing to keep in mind about any diy whitening; be careful about oversensitivity. If you get too much goo on your gums over extensive periods of times (years basically) it can 'eat away' the gumline. So just make sure not to overdue it.

To ease sensitivity, try using Sensodyne toothpaste between whitenings. What you do (my dental hygenist told me this and worked great) is put some on your finger and rubg it along your gum line. Spit out any excess but do NOT rinse it out. Sleep overnight and then in the morning brush as normal-I use sensodyne everyday when doing the whitening process. Repeat the gum rub everynight during the process and it really will help ease it.

If you go to Crest coupon you can get a $7 coupon (gets mailed to you) when you purchase a crest strips kit

Crest Whitestrips don't really work for me. I've used Go Smile & that worked for me.

I have my crest white strips on as I type this! My wedding is in 4 days and I started with the strips 4 days ago and after the first one I tried, my teeth were SO much whiter....I honestly was amazed! I highly recommend these things, they are GREAT!
