Where did you do it and how much did it cost? I bought the crest white strips and it's burning my gums. I want something that will make a difference after one time, not something I have to keep going back for.

Re: teeth whitening?
The gum burning is from the peroxide. I'm using them too. Have you tried moving them around so it's not resting on your gums? Also, create a mixture of peroxide and baking soda (to make a paste) in a small tupperware and use that everytime you brush your teeth.

Yea I did but I think if it touches my gums at all it burns and I don't want to move it off so much that it's not covering my teeth. I should use peroxide like the liquid stuff?? That sounds dangerous!

Re: teeth whitening?
I went to my denist and had it done in his office. I have super sensitive teeth , and the strips KILLED me.
with the professional , my teeth hurt only for a few hours , and yes i noticed a difference. they are not chiclet white , but then again teeth aren't supposed to be. It wasn't cheap, but it was worth it since i have some messed up teeth as it is..

I invited my dentists to my wedding I'm hoping to con them into a discount on teeth whitening. The strips really are painful! I used them a few years ago and forgot how bad it was

Yeah, it's peroxide and baking soda. You make a thick paste. It's more baking soda. It works really well and it's perfectly safe!

Re: teeth whitening?
ey girls dumb question after i use the 'special paste' (peroxide and baking soda) Do you brush your teeth normally with it? Or leave it on for a little bit?
PLease explain...
I wanted to get it professionally done but im scared. my teeth are VERY sensitive..so I am ery nervous. Plus the cheapest i found was 800
