About 2 1/2 months in advance-my wedding is also around Labor day.

Well, my wedding is not til February but when the time comes I am going to send them out in Mid November because of all the holidays in Nov, Dec and January. I have a lot of people coming in from out of town and I want to give them plenty of time to book flights and accomodations.

my date is 1/31 and I am going to send them out in late October. You have to think about the holiday season. There will be alot of mail traffic.

We sent ours 3 months in advance and gave them a couple of months to rsvp.
