Tell me who is your florist and why

I need a florist, they are so many I don't know where to go first. I know I want something modern and striking. Not traditional more trendy. Any leads?

Burtons - I have seen their work and loved it. They also gave me the best price and I get to pick any flowers I want.

I'm also using Flower Michele for the same reasons as Curly. FH and I needed someone who is excited about what he does. John was great! And for my FH to walk out of a florist excited about flowers then he must be doing something right! So we booked! I can't wait!

Mormile of Rockville Centre. They do amazing work and they are the nicest people on earth!!!

I'm using Flowers by Brian. I went to a bridal showcase and every single table centerpiece that I absolutely loved was done by them. They are a little more pricy than the others but I know they do incredible work and have a great reputation. They do the arrangements for the Regis and Kelly show

I used In Full Bloom. They are smaller, and gave me the personalized attention I wanted.

I am using Flower Michele also! For the same reasons as above. I went to a few florists, but the moment I met John I knew he saw my vision and would help make it a reality. He is so patient. Good Luck!

I used Arcadia Florists based in Mamaroneck. My flowers were absolutely beautiful. Talk with the owner, Sam...he is awesome.

Flower Michele! John is the best! He made me a sample and really worked with me! My FH and I loved all of his ideas and creativity.

We used Murphys & Co in Bayside. I liked that they listened to what we wanted in terms of style and price and ran with it. Our flowers were beautiful. They seemed to truly enjoy the creative process vs. just making a sale. One of the owners even went to our reception site to get a better idea of how things would look. I would highly recommend them.

Burton's - they gave me the best price for more stuff...he came in about $500 cheaper than everyone else for the same things...the reason why he is able to be cheaper is that he does weddings ONLY - no get-well, no birthday, no I Love You, no Valentine's Day - because he is able to focus exclusively on weddings, he keeps his prices and overhead down. The biggest plus for me was that for that price, I can have ANY FLOWER I want. THis includes roses of all shapes and colors, lilies, orchids, anything. ANY FLOWER.

This was a breath of fresh air after everyone else told me freakin lilies were 'too expensive' for my budget.

Flower Michele—I just feel that John GETS It! He understands exactly what I want, he shows a total passion for flowers, his prices are reasonable and most importantly I have complete confidence and trust that he will deliver exactly what I am asking for. Flowers are important to me and I don't want to worry about quality!

Another Mormile bride. They do great work. They are very patient. They listen and try to make your ideas come to life. If they think there is something that can make it look better, they give suggestions. But they do not push it. Last but not least they are some of the sweetest people that you will ever meet.

Most important for me...I feel confident abour their work.

Towers Flowers in N Babylon...he is a family friend...and throughout planning this was the one thing I did not worry about at all...and when we got the flowers they were better than what I imagined...

he also owns a store in nesconset...but I can't think of the name right now...

I am using a private florist, Petals of Locust Valley. The woman who is doing our wedding is a good friend of my sisters, her name is Diana. We went to Burton's before seeing Diana, and I admit that Burtons gave us a better price (about $600 cheaper) but we thought they were a little too 'cookie cutter'. I'm sure they still would have been nice, but I want our flowers to be really different and unique, and Diana had some incredible ideas that we just couldn't pass up. She's a sweetheart too! I know she will do a great job.
