Tell me who is your florist and why

I need a florist, they are so many I don't know where to go first. I know I want something modern and striking. Not traditional more trendy. Any leads?

MINNIBRIDE14 - I don't think Burton's has a website, they're located in Melville, their # is 631-424-3377. I am using them as well. Great prices, compared to 4 other florists. Great work. 2 of my BMs used them as well.

i am using burtons, too. they are in melville on walt whitman road - behind the pizza hut. It really called burton's bridals. I ordered my dress there too, best price around and the price included alterations!!

jack and rose - they are great, affordable and even give a liweddings discount!! i loved jack when we met with him - we are booking him tonight!!

(i tired burtons, flowers by brian, flowers by michele, north shore floral, pedestals and james cress and they were all much more expensive plus we are getting our choice of flowers on everything!.....)

I'm using Burton's because I've seen their work and they're relatively inexpensive. And flowers die so I didn't want to spend a lot of $$$ on them.

I'm using Sugar Magnolias. A little on the expensive side but Heidi is a doll to work with and has a passion for flowers. We had a long consultation before any flowers were even picked and we discussed what my vision for my wedding was and she gave me her thoughts as well. She is more of a flower 'studio' than a flower shop.

I can't wait to see my flowers at my wedding!!!

I am using Colonial Florist in N.Bellmore, I went to the big named florists and found them to be pushy, and not listening to what I wanted. I even had a florist call me and demand to know who I was using and why not them, I hung up on them!!! Colonial Florist has been around for years and they have a good reputation, and there work is outstanding!

Christopher Devin Celebrations. My FSIL used Marie there and loved her (she is the owner). I was skeptical b/c her wedding was all roses and very traditional, so I wasn't sure if I'd like her but she made me promise to go check her out. When I got there I saw her work, and I described wanting a very bright and unique bouquet. She went in the back and put some flowers together-and I loved it! It was exactly what I wanted, modern, bright and unique! So, I knew she had my vision-and she's extremely reasonably priced.

I'm using Jack and Rose florist. I looked at a couple of florist but they gave me a really good price and I liked Jack.

Jack & Rose. My cousin used them - - his work is beautiful, he's sweet and helpful. I didn't bother comparing any other florist, I knew I was using them.

Sugar Magnolia's because I met with Heidi and loved her. She also did my brothers wedding and is a good friend of my brother & SIL. She is very sweet and very creative.

we're using designer florals in westbury. they are probably one of my favorite vendors. i went there just knowing the one flower i HAD to have (sunflowers) and sharon built my entire bouquet around them - right in front of me!!! she kept holding up different combinations of stuff until i fell 100% in love with something. all in all, i think we spent almost 3 hours with me! she was super-creative and so friendly!!

Burtons - They came highly recommended by numerous people. My sister and one of my friends used them and they do beautiful work. They are very reasonably priced.
