tell me why you love your bank

i absolutely hate my bank. td! once it changed from commerce, its gone way down hill, imo and i cant stand it.

im thinking of changing to chase but i want the scoop on chase and any others out there that you think are worth checking out

my main thing is, are there any banks out there that have a no minimum checking out with no fees???

I agree with you on TD. Ever since the change, things have been on a slow but steady decline

I'm still with them because I love their hours of operation. They have me by the balls with that. But that's pretty much the only reason..

I'd be interested to hear about other banks!

They have Debit Cards with Rewards
There ALL OVER THE PLACE
There is little to no worry that they will go under...

Chase

i have capital one.

i have never had aany problems with them and there are locations everywhere which makes it convenient.

i cant recommend a bank, I hate mine, TD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

we have our jt acct with Chase........I plan on moving all of my savings into Chase also but I am just too lazy to change all of my auto-bill pays!!!!!!

i have suffolk federal credit union they are the best! if you use the ATM in king kullen its free service charges

they have been very good to us the last 3 years

we use HSBC.

i love HSBC. FH is a preferred banker & they roll out the red carpet every time he walks into the bank.

since i work for an attorneys office & all of the accounts are with HSBC, i also have a preferred bank account. that means no fees.

they have locations all over the world & the change of them going under is minuscule.

We use Nassau Educators Credit Union and I LOVE it. There aren't any fees but $5 does have to remain in your savings. We signed up for Go Green Checking and we get 4% PER MONTH on our entire checking account balance. It's a chunk of free money. Of course we also get ATM fees and stuff back.

Geez, where is this?! I want! I have to keep $100 in my savings or I get a $15 fee!

My personal acct is with my neighbor bank Ridgewood Savings- they do have branchs on Long Island. I love them- never had a problem

My joint acct with FH is with Capital One- again never had a problem, they have rewards checking which is a plus. Also branches all over

I haven't had problems with my account - thank god - but a lot of people have. Oh, and their computer systems were on the fritz on and off for like 2 weeks!

My big complaint with them is that the customer service level has dropped TREMENDOUSLY since the merge. The people that work there used to be so nice and efficient...now they're slow and cranky. It's the same people, BTW. I use the bank by my house and the one by my job and the people who were happy a year ago are miserable now.

Must be company morale. They're probably treated differently since the merge, and not in a good way.

I couldn't take any money out for a week after payday. They couldn't tell me how much money I had in my account. It was awful. I cried my eyes out. And their overall customer service has just declined since TD took it over. They used to pay back ATM fees they don't do that anymore. Just any little nice thing that Commerce did, TD doesn't do, except for the lollipops and dog treats on the counter. LOL!
