Temple Israel Of lawrence..anyone???

Hi everyone!

I am getting married there and was wondering if anyone else has booked the place, or has gotten married there.

I feel im in GREAT hands but would love to hear anyone elses experience there. EVERYTHING I have heard is great.

Funnily enough, I think this was where DH got married the first time

He said the building is very pretty and that he had no complaints (I guess except for the wife...), and in guy speak that must mean the food is good and there were no problems!

One of my best friends got married there, you have NOTHING to worry about.
It was a really great wedding, the food was delicious!

Just wanted to know experiences. I have only heard RAVE'S about everything.

Plus they just did a 5.5 million dollar renovation last year to the facility and its beautiful!

My friend got married there right after it was renovated and it was amazing!!!

I cant remember the food, but I remember having an amazing time!!! I do remember the chickenshots! They had chicken and a tequilla shot or Kamazie shot thing during cocktail hour and it was really fun!! And the staff was really hot! Someone told me that she paid for a package that provided models as the servers. Not sure if that is true or not.

The moral of my story -- you have nothing to worry about!! The place is gorgeous and you will have a fantastic wedding!

I am getting married there next year !
My FH's family has been at about 3-4 weddings since it has been redone ( and everytime they say how great it was )
I saw a video of a wedding there from 2 years ago, it was very beautiful.
The person that I am working with is great, very sweet and accommodating.
and you can't beat that cocktail room

I have to say that cocktail hour room is off the hook.

But I LOVE the shul and how 'old world' it is.
