Tension on LIW??

Does anyone else feel the tension on here or is it just me. There is over 2500 people on the site and usually by this time the 08 board is pumping. I think there are some people holding back on the posting lately, I wonder why???

And to the rest of you, here's my tension - WHAT IS THIS SHOWER everyone is talking about? I WAS NOT INVITED. Ha ha. But really, what was this some sort of LIW sponsored shower?? Maybe I can go next year, if invited.

Blurgirlny, the shower was a shower for all girls getting married in 08 .. planning started in the summer and it was held on 10/5 ... may have happened before you joined / posted a lot? Everyone needed to RSVP in mid September.

I was thinking the same thing!!! The truth is, it's all re-posts. I'm lazy and only feel like answering certain questions once, ya know? Like Where do you work? where did you get engaged, etc.

I'm not trying to be b!tchy... I'm really just lazy, lol

Thats true, it does get repetative with the newly engaged coming on. I just got worried, it seems that everyone and this site is dying down so soon

i feel like when I post wedding related stuff i don't get many replies so it's kind of pointless. thanks in that case, i still need limos and flowers and don't want to pay a lot. I don't recognize any flowers (except roses of course) and i hate the color pink.

when i actually get some florist/limo quotes, i expect some help!!

I'm still here, everyday, refreshing my page every 5 minutes and it's the same posts just sitting there. LOL. I do try to be helpful, but sometimes I'm just like, blah.

I think anyone who has been here in a while gets a little blah about the typical threads. I have found that since the wedding is getting closer that I have more things to do and less time to go online. I probalby will not be on as much as I have been starting next week since I have to finish up my little projects and I am moving.

yeah that is soo true. i come on here during work mostly because i have down time and then after work i am at school, doing homework trying to make my butt go to the gym or just so damn tired i am sleeping by 11:30pm lol....so i lurk if anything at night and post somewhat during the day in between doing my work. i have noticed not alot of the advid posters are on anymore. and alot alot of newpeople are on here

haha yeah and fh wonders why it took me almost 2 weeks to go sign new contracts for the wedding. i kept telling him i am working, going to school both full time and am observing at elementary school for part of my classes. I was about to B*tch slap him through the phone the day i actually went and signed the contracts haha...he had the balls to say 'Oh about time'. NMeanwhile a 40 min drive to JT took about 1 1/2 hours because of the rain and then another 45 min to my DJ/photo/video which is a mile down the road from JT!! if he was home he would have been in the dog house

oh and i forgot to go on when i got home last night. but i will try again now....can you send me your link again. it wasnt wokring yesterday let me see today!!!

I am on wedding burnout. I really dived into the planning in the beginning and I am tired of talking about my wedding and I am sure people are tired of hearing about my wedding. I feel like that is the only thing people want to talk about is the wedding...'hey, how are you? how is the wedding coming along'.

So....I am boycotting wedding talk for a couple months.....

I've hardly been around since tuesday...If there was any tension or drama I missed, I have no idea....i'm so exhausted after all this stuff with my gramps i'm just not in the right frame of mine to talk about my wedding bc i'm too devastated thinking about getting married without him being there.....I hope everyone else is OK though and just busy with life. I'm sure the boards will be pumping again soon....
