Sue I understand what you are saying. But could you imagine going through this and then the time has come and you want but can't get in. That is closure for a lot of people. They couldn't even say goodbye to her.

I agree with you. I think it's important to be able to say goodbye. Besides, how much more painful is it to be just outside, unable to be with her, knowing that she is passing?

I think its bullsh**t that they couldn't be with their daughter when she passed...I was by my father's side when he died and my family got to say the very last things he heard as he passed....as hard as that was I wouldn't have wanted it any other way...I think what the husband did is sick and dispicable...

this is so sad. i am haunted and horrified by this whole situation. this is not over by a long shot. that husband is such a *******. God help him.

as least terri is resting peacefully in God's arms now.

That's disgusting what her husband did! My thoughts are with her family.

This has been terrible situation for all involved.

I will not pass judgment on Michael Schiavo--it is not my place to judge him or his actions. Nor is it my place to judge Terri's parents and their actions.

May she rest in peace, and may both families somehow find comfort now that this ordeal is over.

May Terri Rest in peace and God Bless her soul.

I can't believe her husband is actually getting criticized. I've seen him defended over and over on the boards. This is yet another reason why I don't like the man.

The man is a cold hearted B*****d to let someone die alone, period!. I don't even care anymore about his reasons. It was wrong to deny a parent to be with their dying child.

I have no sympathy for that man. I only feel bad for Terri's family.

This is my opinion, noone has to agree.

You know what annoys me about the media. Not that I am not glued to the Tv right now. but the family came and the reporters came running after them. Give them some space you know.

i know. once they leave the hospice, they'll be hounding them...the parents and husband. let them grieve.

Since he ultimatly made the call, maybe he wanted to be in there with Terri when she passed? Let's remeber that this is highly contested, he did what she asked but it is still her blood on his hands...maybe he wanted to be with her alone in her final moments to come to grips with that?

I don't know...I am just trying to rationalize it in some way.

Is he going to ban the parents from going to her funeral too? I wouldn't put it past him to do a thing like that. F*****g A*******
