Sorry idon't have more time to preface this but today is my day off and i have so many errands to run! and tonight we start pre-cana. Tomorrow's QOTD will be much later in the afternoon because we have to wake up mega early to be there and I won't have time to post until i'm back home (hopefully way before 5pm, the way they are saying)
So my question for today is:
What type of role do you and FH play in your relationship? Is it more traditional? You both go to work, but FH still expects you to keep your place clean and have dinner ready? Or are your roles more ambiguous? Does FH cook and clean and you take care of outside chores, like repairs and gardening?
I have to say, FH is very traditional. He still expects me to make dinner and keep the house clean but in return he takes care of all of our car problems (he's a tech) and will always keep the outside of the house clean and in working order and can make any repairs himself. I wish I could stay home and not work and just take care of the kids!
im kinda a control freak when it comes to bill paying, cleaning, organizing and cooking... So i take care of that stuff and I actually dont mind. We both work full time and right now he is also in school full time, so i have way more time on my hands than he does.
our relationship in very untraditional...we work opposite shifts so one of us is home with our son almost all the time...my grandma covers the 2 hours in between
he has in the morning which means getting him ready for the day and i have him at night. We both clean, cook and do whatever when we have the chance
