thank u for ur thoughts..
hey all, i spoke to my friends whose dad passed away. thank u so much for all ur thoughts and prayers, tomorrow morning i am attending the funeral so i wont really b online till the afternoon. thank u so much for keeping his family in ur thoughts.i was so sad to learn the details and find that he had a suddden heartattack and supposedly something even went wrong at the hospital and they r pending an autopsy to see if they need to b suing this hospital.
as if this sudden death isnt enough, his parents were married for 30 yrs.. at least i hope me talking to him helped tho. it broke my heart--i care about this guy so much and it just pains me that he hasta go threw this--plus his bday is in 2 weeks, i def. need to do something special for him...
btw what in the wolrd should i write in the concolence card i m sending to him and his family??
thanks again all, ur always the best

Re: thank u for ur thoughts..
Hey, Michi
I'm glad you were able to speak with your friend. I am sure it is good for him to know that you are there for him if he needs it.Regarding the card, I would just reiterate that you are there for him if he needs to chat or even just to hang out at your place away from his family. As you know, sometimes as much as you mourn, you need to mourn on your own, away from the other family members.
Good luck

Re: thank u for ur thoughts..
Aw Michi, I am so sorry for your friend
He is lucky to have such a good friend in you, though.I'm sure that he appreciates that you are here for him , and just reiterate that in the card when you give it. There really aren't any 'right' words when it comes to a loss such as this, but when the time is ready he'll know that you are there for him if he wants/needs to reach out to someone
I'm sure your words are comforting to him. When I lost my grandmother(who i was extremely close to) each and every call , message and card meant so much to me
Hang in there, i'm sure the services tomorrow will be difficult
