Hi, girls! I've been trying to get a jump on the thank you cards and sending some of them now as opposed to waiting until after the wedding. A friend of mine said if they are coming to the wedding, I'm actually supposed to wait until after the wedding, so I can say thank you for coming to the wedding, too. Is this true? If it is, should I send another thank you to everyone I've already sent thank you cards to after the wedding? Thank you!!!
I don't get it - why would you send two - are these people who are coming but are sending gifts now? When I got gifts/checks before the wedding it was from people who couldn't come and I wrote those for the most part as soon as I got them so I could keep up. Ones that came really close to the wedding got written along with the other thank yous after the wedding.
Yeah, some people who are coming to the wedding have sent their gifts already, and I have sent them thank you cards. I guess my questions are: 1) Is that rude? and 2) Do I have to send them another thank you card after the wedding to thank them for coming?
