I hate writing them too! We didn't do an e-party so engagement gifts are still trickling in, and it seems like at least once a week I have to write one. I told FH he should write the ones to his friends/family and I'll take care of mine, but they would never get done and then everyone would blame me anyway!!!

I was thinking of being lazy and getting a fab picture of myself with a thank you message on the bottom. Is that bad? This would be for the shower... I ain't going to have time to handwrite thank yous.
Here's an example of a non-hand written note, but i'm not sure i'm convinced it's OK to do this. Has anyone else?

I hate them because then I have to address FH's extended family and I don't know how! It's something I've avoided for over 4 years. I make him right it in his handwiritng so then at least I don't feel weird saying Aunt and Uncle so and so haha.

at least your putting out the effort. We have been to a handfull of weddings in the last 2 years and NO THANK YOUS im very surprised. We have spent a lot of money on everyone a quick note would be nice... i dont know, just my opinion
