Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving

So girls how do you plan to spend your holiday this year? D o you stay with your family or do you split the holidays?

Fh and I stay with our families and meet up later. Since my mom passed away I hate leaving my Dad alone. However, I know this will probably change after we get married, because I would then have to equally split the holiday.

FH usually comes to my house for Thanksgiving. He usually has off the day before thanksgiving so he will be ther all day, but this year he has work the night before and the night of thanksgiving so its going to be alittle harder to come over.

We usually alternate holidays but this year we are separating.

I can't wait for black friday shopping!!!

We are gonna spend Thanksgiving together. His mom and sister are coming down to NY to spend it with my family. This Christmas will be the first we are spending together with my family and then a few days later we'll drive to NH to visit his family.

We usually split the day, spend the day with his family and then go back to my house for my family. Having two dinners and two desserts

But this year I am going to my aunt's house in Kentucky with my mom and my sister, it will be the first holiday that i am not spending with FH and his family

FH and I will be splitting Thanksgiving this year, but we talked about alternating in the future.

We always spend it with FH family. I cook for everyone. Usually Christmas eve we spend with his family and Christmas day with mine but my parents are going to my brothers for X-Mas this year.

we don't really have a 'set' schedule. It depends on if he's working also. This year we will be going to my aunts in the afternoon and then swing by his grandmother's after for dessert

Well since we already live together, we both will spending the day cooking. My family will be coming over for dinner. He does not have any family just a brother and sister who could care less.

Smoked gouda mash potatoes /
Turkey/ ham/ roasted vegtable/ three cheese mac and cheese/ stuffing/ home made -from scratch sweet potato pies/ cookies - have to come with some to drink - everyone likes my sangria. .

this is all I have so far. Still making my list.

We spend all the holidays with my family. It's the one major benefit of FH's family being so crazy. I get all the holidays with my family.

We usually just stay with each others families. If he is not doing anything he comes with me or we meet up later. We are not going to start that drama until after we are married.

for thanksgiving, we'll go to his mom's this year for dinner then my mom's for dessert.. his mom always cooks for thanksgiving, my mother alternates, so years that my mom cooks, we'll be at my mom's house

we've been hosting every holiday for both our families for 3 yrs. i do all the cooking..and he entertains lolol it works out wonderfully! ( no1 is allowed in my kitchen)

This thanksgiving he might have to work so I'll prob. just stay w/ my fam. If not, I have no idea what we're gonna do..

I will spend thanksgiving eve at FH house and then we will hve breakfast and watch the parade with his family. then we will do the afternoon and dinner with my family. not sure what we are doing for dessert yet..

my FMIL asked my family to come over but I think we're gonna stay here because my brother has a crazy work schedule and he doesn't want to go out when he gets home.

We talked about the future - we'll just have to spend time both places (our parents live 5 mins from eachother)

FH has cooked thanksgiving dinner at our apartment the last two years & he will be doing the same this year. we will be having FMIL, FH's grandmother, & his aunt, uncle, cousin & his cousins girlfriend. i have no idea where we r putting all these people.

FH will be spending Thanksgiving with my family. FHs dad will be in Columbia with his wife, and his half-brother will be at his mom's house.

FH likes spending the holidays with my family, so there's no drama.. I'd like to split the holiday, but his dad isn't so receptive.

FHs mom lives in FL and we'll probably get down there once or twice a year after we're married.

we spend thanksgiving every year with my grandparents upstate...But this year that all depends on FH's back. If he still cant stil for longer than 20 minutes at a time we arent going...But if he can then we will go and come back the same night so I can go midnight shopping!!!
