So girls how do you plan to spend your holiday this year? D o you stay with your family or do you split the holidays?
Fh and I stay with our families and meet up later. Since my mom passed away I hate leaving my Dad alone. However, I know this will probably change after we get married, because I would then have to equally split the holiday.

We're having everyone at my house....all 14 of us. FH's mother and grandmother will be there for Thanksgiving and his father's family will be spending Christmas with us.

FH might have to work in the morning...so we'll have dinner with my parents and then dessert with his family.
Since my sister moved away, I don't want to leave my parents all alone. FH's parents have 5 other kids plus grandkids so they'll have a full house for dinner even without us!!
I'm sure in the future they'll invite my parents over for dinner...I am not looking forward to that!! They are veeeeeeeeery different.

we usually go to both families...
we will go to his families house around noon and kinda pick around in the food..
then around 4:00 we will go to my house and do the same thing..
