i picked out my bm dresses aug 20th! all my girls got theirs except one- fsil (fh bro's wife)
after asking her repeatedly to get it - with no emails back- no apology- no reassuring promises, and fh asking her to get it - and her apologizing to him and saying she will send her deposit in- i have now SENT THE DEPOSIT IN MYSELF
please tell me why people are like this

I do I do!! Also a FSIL. I also had to send the deposit, and im sure i will be waiting a long time to get payed back!

Seriously, there is one in every family. I make mine into a joke now. Like, 'I wonder what problem so and so is going to have now' And FH and I place bets.
My one BM told me not to get her any kind of jewlery unless it's platinum or gold, because that's all she can wear! WHAT????

Hi, I know exactly what your talking about--it hasn't happened yet but I know how that one person could stress you so much. Honestly, I would call her and say you have to go get your dress because you will not have enough time if you don't. Do not let her stress you out!!!! I am sure it will all work oout :)

yep.. My one difficult person is my MAID OF HONOR. The BM dresses were ordered in Sept... all the girls were measured-INCLUDING HER. Shes the first one to critisize everyone-everything.. yet IM STILL WAITING for her to give in her deposit for the dress. Yet shes the one to telll me that asking my girls to pay $300 for a BM dress is no big deal. Ughhh tghis just pisses me off

i bought my bms their dresses, and they were to pay me back.
i still have one bm who didn't pay for her dress! and i still got her a bridal party gift!

One of MOHs is being a little difficult, She found the BM Dress somewhere else for $8 (yes, you read it right), and suggested I 'check it out'. Riiiiggghttt.

Yes! The flower girls mother, FH's sister! Arggg! Getting a dress for this girl is the most difficult ordeal for no reason! First I picked out a dress and its too expensive, so she says she wants to look in a thrift store. I finally find one for $42!! 42 dollars! Do you think you could get a dress much cheaper than that? She doesn't want to order it now because she thinks the kid will grow too much. Fine. But then she says I should send her a pic of the dress so they can look around and find something similar! WHAT?!? No, I pick out the dress, its my wedding!
ETA: Do I sound like a bridezilla?

one of my friends was very difficult
she wouldn't go get measured for her dress- b/c she 'Wanted to lose weight' then if she lost weight- 'what if I gain it back'
my Dad is paying for the dress- but then after months of me harassing her- she told me in an email that she 'Couldn;t afford to be in my wedding'
not sure way b/c the BM was paid for by my Dad, it's black- I said wear what ever black shoes you have- I am paying for hair and make up
my dad paid for my shower-
what is wrong with people!

I've got two. I have no idea if FSIL has paid off her dress so that it could be shipped to her (she's on the west coast); my other BM, MY COUSIN, is leaving for Italy for all of December but won't go for fittings unless I can come (I think that she wants me to pay for it). I work in NYC - you live on LI and you don't have a job - go by yourself!!
