Thatched cottage-so yummy!

I have to say I went to the thatched cottage last night with my friend for her tasting. The place is so pretty, just not really my taste. Anyway, I went expecting no big deal. We were brought into a private room with a nice table set up, wine, drinks offered. The food came out and was absolutely amazing. Seriously not what I expected. I have been to a few tasting where I thought the food was great, but this place was so good. The owner/chef (dont know his name) sorry, was so nice he explained what each thing was and how it was freshly prepared. The main entree ( 1 of them, i think you get 8 at your wedding and like 30 passed hour de ourvs--sorry spelling!) was salmon wrapped in a flakey crust. We also tried a chicken dish that was yummy in my tummy! The whole salmon was wrapped and made into a fish shape with a tail. SOOO cute! If you have not checked this place out, you must. It is not flashy No marble but cute and quaint, right on the water! I was impressed! Not at all what I expected. Just wanted to give some feedback to anyone interested!
