With everything going on with finalizing the wedding plans and a stressful job and planning on going back to school, now FH is talking about the B word.
That's right he wants to have a baby!
We haven't really talked about this, we are waiting until after the HM to have this talk. As much as I'd love to have a baby I think we should wait a little while.
I was wondering if anyone else has been having the itch lately?

If anyone is really itchy......feel free to come over here! I have twin girls, he has a daughter, and we have a son on the way....I promise this house will cure your itch!
hahaha. Yeah, I'm a pre-school teacher, and i always say 'Working here is my birth control!!'
not that i don't ever want kids (cause i definitely do) but it shows me how unready I am for the responsibility of actually raising a child. Give me a couple years.... i'll be ready!

My sister just had twin boys. We went there yesterday to see them again, they are 2 weeks old. It makes him itch more We are older though and the clock is ticking, esp for me, as I am nearing my 40s. I have 2 kids from a prior though already. We use to say my daughter is great birth control.

i am not itchy at all. But FH is.. and has been since we met! I need somethings to fall in line first... financially secure, etc. 2 more yrs.....
That's how I feel. I think we'd be fine if we did concieve now, but as far as planning goes, I'd rather wait a little while and save some $. Even if we don't buy a house first it would be nice to have some cash in the bank first.
We're thinking somewhere in between 1-4 years but I have a feeling it will be closer to one year we will start trying.

Re: The baby itch?
Depends on the day .A part of me could have dogs instead of kids and be happy and another part of me wants to be a mommy.
Mostly not itchy at all , and then I will get a passing moment where I want a baby now . Im 32 and DH is 37 so I know I can't wait too much longer since we want at least 2. We are thinking to start trying this summer

Re: The baby itch?
I think we're both itchy but at the same time are trying to be practical about it. We want a house, more financial secutiry.
Right now we're thinking we'll wait a year, but not much longer than that. Fh is 34 and I'm turning 33. I think it will be hard for me to concieve since I'm overweight and I'll be high risk because I have high blood pressure. Not to mention I'm scared of having a baby...even though I want one.

DH and I are very itchy. We are TTC right now but so far no luck.
we're in the same boat. we've only been trying for 2 months though, so we're hoping to get lucky by the new year.

Re: The baby itch?
Some days im worse than others. Probably depends on how tired I am lol. Well probably wait a year or so. FH wants to wait 3 years... I dont believe in waiting until the perfect time cause really there is no perfect time. There will always be something you want to work on before having kids. So i say screw it, once we both agree we will go for it. People always find a way to make it work. The only reason I want to wait a year is because we have never lived together before so I want to just enjoy being with FH for a little bit, but if it accidentally happens along the way, no big deal.

Re: The baby itch?
I am a little itchy now. My husband wanted to get pregnant right away and i was against it, even on our honeymoon he kept asking to try and i would not, but now im the one who wants it and he thinks we should wait until we get a house. PS we are in the process of looking for a house .
