The ballroom is DONE!

I had mentioned for months now that the temple was under major reconstruction this summer. Having gone there about a month or so ago and seeing the place in complete disarray, left me in a minor state of panic. I checked the website for any updates and I was so excited. Then I saw that the tables were oval and I nearly flipped out. I dont like oval tables - IMO, they arent conducive to conversation. So I called the caterer and asked what the deal was. For tables with 12 people and under, the tables are round. For tables over 12 people, the tables are oval. So guess what - we won't have tables with more than 12 people. Here are some pics. The room isnt decorated for a function so it looks pretty generic but my wedding will be heavily decorated with LUSH floral arrangements.

Im actually quite happy. I had NO idea what the place was going to look like so it was hard to visualize the feel of my wedding. I like the fact that the place is pretty plain looking so I can design it the way I want and not have to deal with ornate decorated walls which may not be my taste. This temple does many more Bar Mitzvahs than weddings but now I think that may change.
