The biggest PITA during your wedding planning

so what do you think has been biggest pain in butt planning or trying to accomplish?? flowers?? invitations?? your dress?

looking back i think it was my invitations. the whole ordeal of trying to figure out how much postage. going to post office to weigh them, having them hand cancelled. then trying to chase people who haven't responded having my family give me more people to invite AFTER sending the names to the calligrapher

even though for the most part everything went smoothly. i don't miss any of it at all !!

The biggest PITA for me was ...MONEY!!! If I hadn't lost my job... I think I would of LOVED every minute of this even the Family & BM drama...

i am going to have to say, so far it has been the invitations!!!!! they drove me crazy! I finally found the one i like, but now choosing the font has been another debacle

while planning, the biggest pain was def the guest list, and that was minor. after the wedding, def the thank you cards. i'm so glad they're done!

invites! having to pick them out, make sure the list was correct, find a calligrapher.....the whole process!

a close second was my bachelorette party. believe it or not it was extremly hard to plan!!

I would have to say my bridal party. I had to hold their hands through the whole process and they ended up costing me valuable time in the end of my planning b/c I had to take them the week before the wedding to get their alterations and buy their shoes for the wedding. And I had to pick up their dresses from the alteration spot since none of them had a car. Picking the right people for your party is very important I really understand that now. I do miss the planning even though it was stressful.

So far, the invitations hands down. They were the hardest to pick, addressing the envelopes, getting them in the mail - putting them together.

Getting FH to give me names and addresses of people he/his family wanted to invite.

I'm with you on that one... FH still hasn't gotten some of his friends addresses... he said he'll just give them an invite next time he sees them.... he's clueless!!!

Without a question, RSVPs. If I didnt dye my hair Im sure I would have found a ton of grey hair from those damn things.

FH's mom trying to get my mom to sway our opinions...ie: after saying we picked fg dresses and then she emails my mom to say we should buy the ones she picked or to FH after he said we were using a dj ' Oh that's tacky'

getting an RH.

We had one, LOVED IT, put a deposit down, IT CLOSED....

Had another, LOVED IT, sat down to figure out the financials, couldn't afford it.

Third & last one - FOUND it, LOVED IT, got married there eventually...

It was just a LOT of change and each place was sooooo different, the atmosphere would've been dramatically different from one to the other - it made things VERY hard to figure out in my head.

We're having a DW so planning everything from NY has been a challenge-but not too awful. We actually picked out our invitations this week (we both agreed on one in about 1 hour) and we're ordering them tonight so I'm hoping that won't be tooo bad. You all have me scared now! lol.
