Re: The boycotting dyeables thread

Not only did my BMs wear off-white open-toe shoes instead of periwinkle dyeables, I boycotted typical local bridal salons for myself, my BMs, MOH and MOG!

Im sorry but I still think its a lil harsh.

what's harsh about expressing your opinion? you, goldi, of all people, should understand this.

I agree and I understand. There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with stating an opinion at all. Had a question been posed or a thread started as 'What do you think of dyeables?' or 'Can I have your opinions on dyeable shoes?' then by all means, everyone has the right to state their opinions no matter how harsh they may be. Every single opinion and thought is valid. However, in my opinion, regardless of what I plan to do for my own bridal party (and I stated that I DID change from the idea of dyables to silver for practical purposes in a previous post) , it seemed harsh to me to imply that a bride's potential choice for HER BP is presented with an air of negativity right from the beginning. Thats all I wanted to say.

Right on, Leslie!

Hey I tried... I told my girls they could wear black strappy shoes if they wanted and they insisted on matching the gowns and each other... to each their own.
