my cousin (moh) is thinking of going to Mangia e Beva' and then 'The Donkey Show' for my b-party..and then drinks afterwards....

I almost worked at the Donkey Show last summer, actually. It's ok. It's a midsummer night's dream set to disco. It's very short, but you get to dance with the characters before and after. it's totally immersive as in the show is going on on the dance floor around you as you are dancing. Some of the dancers are very attractive, and it's fun, but it does have a slapdash quality to it. Be prepared to spend a lot of $$ on drinks in addition to your ticket and IMO the tbale isn't worth ti b/c there's an outrageous minimum and the dancefloor is where the action is all happenning. i think it's worth it if you can get discounted admission or if you have a lot of $$ to spend, but I think the money is bettr spent on a more producsed show. Bottom line: I've seen it for free.....I'd see it againfor free, but I'd never pay to see it again.

ETA: I recently got an email from a friend invitng me to the last donkey show at club el flamingo, so I don't know if it's closed, or if it's moving to another club or if it has moved, so I'd double check that

I went to see it also, not my preference I prefer drinking and dancing and making a fool of myself!

Yep. On the donkeyshow site there is a number to call, but like I said my frined did mention it closing now that I remeber and ticketmaster says it's cancelled. It was only a monht or so ago

ETA: I just looked it up. The lasts how was a week or two ago and the club was bought by real estate developers!

hay! it was great! so fun! i went to a cubs game on a rooftop & had dinner at japoniase (oprah eats there :) and i saw her designer there!

stayed out until 5 am - it was a blast! i love hanging out on my companys dime

We went to Naked Boys Singing for a BP a few years ago and it was so fun .......
