the dreaded yearly checkup...

I can't believe I have to go to the gyno tomorrow! This appointment snuck up on me. A girl needs time to mentally prepare herself for something like this! I hate this crap!

I have to go soon too.

seriously? I can't think of a single fun thing about the gyno...

I haven't gone in over year.. i seem not to be able to find the money to go. With no health insurance it costs me around $250.. didn't make it to teh dentist yet this year.

I think i will make my gyno appointment for next month..i just have to find the time and money to go because a friend of mine died of cancer last year. It would of been picked up if she went and didn't hold off for 5 years.

They always want to put me on the pill and i say if u give it to me for free then fine.. haven't gotten prego yet so i am not worried about it. The doctor always leaves with his mouth dropped on the floor. heheh

Jen, ask your Dr. for samples, more than likely she'll give them to you. It's worth a shot, right?

i guess my doctor is just really gentle, i swear i never feel a thing, its over in 2.2 seconds. She is female, not sure if that makes a difference. We talk the whole time, i swear im in and out in about 10-15 minutes tops including wait time.

I would definitely recommend mine, her name is Dr. Diaz, she's part of a small practice with 1 other OBGYN Dr., it's in Syosset on Jackson Ave. I've been going to her for like 7 years now she makes you feel extremelely comfortable, and even all of the other girls in the office (front desk, etc.) are all very nice. If you want a phone number just FM me and I'll give it to you.
