The first day of 2009 and I am already bummed

Today is our anniversary and I think he totally forgot. He didn't even get me a card and he was supposed to take off of work so we could celebrate and he forgot.. so now Im home alone all nigh. Its so not like him so I cant help but feel really dissapointed.

However, to make myself feel better I went to ACMoore and spent a sh*t load of money on wedding related DIY items

listen to me....

do NOT think he forgot until the very end of the night... here's why....

for the last 5 years, my bf has made a 'new years' dvd of all the pictures of him and his friends through the year. they would watch it every new years eve, and he would make copies for everyone.

this year, he said he was too busy. i was bummed because i was actually gonna be in it cuz i only started dating him last january so i wasnt in the last one...

i was so so so upset because it was something iw as looking forward to ALL year (i had seen the previous ones)..

he even went as far as wrapping up a dvd case and putting an 'IOU' in the dvd case...so he had all of us thinking he really didnt make one. we were all upset because its something they look forward to also..

then, at like 12:02, he snuck out to the car, and brought in what?.... the dvd he made!

so, with that story, DO NOT COUNT HIM OUT UNTIL THE 11th HOUR! He could just be surprising you with something... that **** happens...im telling you!

Awe thats a cute story... but FH is def not surprising me lol. He is at work till 2am and i have work tomorrow morning. I know him too well he will probably clean the house tomorrow or something like that to 'make me feel better'. I dont even care anymore. I am just upset cause I kept reminding him and he still forgot. All i wanted was a card!

if you 'test' him, he will fail every time b/c he doesn't know he is being 'tested!' does that make sense??? the best thing to do is tell him how you feel... i do this to FH all the time, and without fail it ends up being a fight over something stupid and completely not related at all...
