the george foreman grill sucks.

the george foreman grill sucks.

i used to be a huge fan!! HUGE!! when i had a tiny kitchen it was all i ever used to 'cook.'

now, after not that much time, the thing burns all the meat (i make lots of turkey burgers) to a crisp on the outside and leaves it raw on the inside. YUM! the entire outer cover of the grill is also turning an unappealing shade of yellow... can't figure that one out.

i can't wait to get my fancy new stove-top grill thing from my registry and leave the ghetto foreman days behind LOL i might buy it off the registry for myself

we have it.. never used it yet.. still in the box.. can you say 're-gift?' lol jk

Even the salesguy who helped with our registry at BBB said it's horrible. LOL

Am I the only one who likes the George Forman Grill? It is really good for making a grilled chicken sandwich in like 5 minutes flat!

Julz -- I make quesadillas in it really quickly too.. i think its good for melting cheese.... but meats?? blech!

I love the way it grills the chicken. The chicken is so moist!

I never did bite into the forman grill hype.. DH's sister gave us one when we moved in together.. the meat always looked funny and not cook and then taste like rubber.. it just wasn't right lol I prefer my grill pan thingie any day.. what's even worse is his bbq grill! lol

I think I'm just lazy...it is so much easier and quicker than REAL cooking

I got one as an e-gift. It sucks, you are absolutely right Lori FH used it once and never again. Anybody use that rotisserie thing on tv? Is that any good? now i am a real skeptic.

I actually love the grill! Although the only meat that I cook on there are chicken cutlets and hamburgers.

I love it to grill chicken but its also turning yellow on me. As much as I clean it it is still yucky.

Wow im surprised. I love the George Foreman grill. I guess it doesnt matter to me cause I like my meat well done.

i got it as a gift myself.. we have one at home and for certain things it works well on, other things it needs longer to cook--

the only thing is i wanted the small $10 one, since i wont be using it much, yet i received the bigger family sized one...

The thing is a nightmare...Mine burns one side of the chicken and the other side is still pale...And is it just me or is that thing a pain in the butt to clean properly???

PS mine turned that yucky yellow too.

Me too. I haven't used my george foreman grill once since I got it.
I just feel bad throwing it out. It won't exactly decmpose.
