'the guy ' in HS

did you ever get 'THE GUY' in high school? the one you had an insane crush over? the one that you swore was the guy of guys??

i didnt
but i feel so many girls did - even if it wasnt LOVE - they at least got a hook up. how did i get duped out of it??

I am unlucky as well-seeing as i went to an all girls cartholic high school. no boys for me in school, had to look elsewhere.

There was another guy though, that was also totally my type. I swooned over him for years. I saw him and the same girlfriend he had in high school recently at Home Depot. Scrumptious.

i crushed on him for sooo long-i started in 9th grade and we didnt start goin out until the summer after 10th grade....

I didn't. He is married now. I got made fun of for YEARS after HS becuase I had SUCH a sad crush on this guy. I kind of hope he got fat - it would make me feel better.

I had a couple of those crushes.
I got a make out with one in HS - it was not good. And I had a shot with a couple of them after HS - I turned them down. They turned the ugly corner during college.

tbere was also another guy-he was a year older-and i thought he was SOOOO COOL

he asked for my # one day, and we used to talk on the fone but i was too P**** to go meet up w/him.....if i did, i wonder what woulda happened............

Dont feel bad - mine was Anthony too. . . I crushed on him for months - ever since he was the 'new kid' he moved to the neighborhood in FM year. I went to an all girl school so I only saw the 'neighborhood boys' Anyway, crushed for a while and then I told him i liked him on the internet. . .the rest is history

ask diane n debbie ALL the stress he put me through...LOL...he kept swearing he didnt like me 'like that' and didnt want to ruin our friendship.

I had a thing for DH in 9th grade, but he is my friend's older brother and she told me I wasn't allowed to date him cause that would be gross. Sucker (actually I didn't date him until 8 years later)

He was going bald (yes in HS but he still was the HOTTEST) and did 'everything' in his baseball cap

I crushed him for sOOOOOOO long, was so thrilled when we connected. Oh the summer of '96 and romance to remember.

And then......

I found his wife on here

didn't have to get 'the guy'. I was 'the girl'

no, seriously, I was. I don't know why...but I was UBER popular in high school....

such a switch from jr high.

got voted prettiest eyes was crushed on (almost literally) by both the football and basketball teams....and danced with every cute guy at the prom...b/c I went with a group of girlfriends...sans date.

the year I graduated high school, I met the bomb. he certainly has put me in my place over the years.

I did, for a fleeting time. He was older, and broke up with his girlfriend so he could ask me to his prom. I was freakin floored and couldn't believe my luck.

A few months later, it was my first I-feel-so-bad-I-think-I'm-going-to-die breakup. I still think of him fondly though. We remained friends for years after and I was even friends with his next girlfriend.

Hmmm, I don't know if he was 'the guy' but a lot of girls had crushes on him. He was a year behind me and so when I graduated I thought that was it.

Then a few years later I ran into him and we started hanging out again. I learned he'd also had a crush on me in HS, but by that point I'd decided he wasn't much afterall and I was glad nothing ever came of it. So we went our separate ways!!
