Danielle and I are searching for yellow pillows for our living room couches. Our walls are a soft yellow and our furniture is Slate grey. We went to every store and cannot find pillows for our apartment. I was wondering, What do you think about these pillows:

I like them, but for living room pillows I like pillows you can sleep on that won't hurt. The decoration looks painful...

I agree, they would hurt AND would probably leave a mark on your face when you get up.
If you are really set on yellow, why not look for fabric and just cover plain square throw pillows?

I would add pillows in an accent color. Since the walls and the couch seem to be muted colors why don't you go with a deep, rich green color (or variations of green) or a maroon (but not too candy colored). This way you can highlight the color in your accent pieces, like flowers, books, or other things around the room. ETA: have your tried Home Goods, TJ Maxx, or Marshall's for pillows?
