I went to two weddings there..it's beautiful! The room is giant, so i would think 350+...HTH!

My cousin is getting married there next september and has nothing but great things to say about it. I've heard they are on the higher end. Like $150 and up in prime months.
I don't have an exact price but know they are expensive.

Ditto.
My mom's boyfriend knows the owner and with a discount for a saturdaynight in a prime month it still wasn't under $100. I forget exactly what it was but it was just too much and I didn't want an afternoon wedding there.
Not to mention this place is also 5 minutes from my house. I don't want to feel like I'm going in my own backyard

thats my RH!!! I believe the big ballroom will hold over 300. The minimums are pretty high on the weekend, so my fiance and i had to do a thursday.
once we saw the place in person and the menu (it's insane) we knew we had to do it there.

I'm getting married there in 42 days !! I loved how they redid the place....even the bridal suite is amazing ! We are having it in the Georgian room (the big one) and it hold up to 400 people. It is 7000 square feet. But i recently went to a bridal shower party in the conservatory and i think it would be perfect for a smaller wedding. As for pricing we got a really good deal b/c we took a day that they could not get rid of (halloween), we walked in there in July 08 and booked on the spot., which pretty much meant we needed to plan our wedding in 3 months, which is TOTALLY doable..so if $ is an issue see what days they still have open and if you love the place...GO FOR IT! Fm if u want

Thats my RH too! I I love that place, I get chills every time i walk in there. Im getting married on a Sunday and we guarented 275. I would check it out. The big room holds up to 450 ppl. Went there for a showcase - Really Nice - The room is really big so I owuld think they can hold at least 350 - Not sure about the cocktail Hour room though -

They hold over $300. The place is amazing. And the new upstairs cocktail hour room they are building looks incredible. But they quoted me $208 (including tax and gratuity) on Sat evening in Nov and I just couldnt justify the cost. I wish I could...because it is really a beautiful place!

I am getting married there too. It can hold 400 I would think. I think they require 200 minimum for weekend evenings. I am getting married on a Saturday night in May. I will say the place is pricey. It was much more than I hoped to spend but the menu is generous and its new so we cut out things elswhere. FM me for more info. I also love that iut is not far out in LI since many of my guests are form teh city and NJ.
p.s. - i was more worried that with less than 250 the room would look empty-lol!

Yes, I agree...I think the room will comfortably fit 300-325. And I love that they use round tables instead of oblong.
Has anyone seen the bed and breakfast yet? I heard they were near completion....

i'm getting really REALLY antsy. when was the last time you were there? i feel bad popping in randomly to see the progress, but our next check isn't due until february and i really can't wait that long.

Last time i was there was a few weeks ago for my friends shower- however i didnt get a chance to snoop around! I had a payment due in July so that the last time I saw the place. I didnt even know about the upstairs cocktail room! You can totally walk in and look around. We do it all the time :) I would call you BM up and tell them you just want to look around because your deciding what flowers you want to put in the room..hehhee
