ITS REAL BAD, seriously they just fight and nobody can say anything...If any girl goes on there and complains about anything for example about a bm not doing something or anything close to that you will get ripped apart. You can't say you like anything princess like they have a name for people like that it's called a beebee, if you're too excited about your wedding they say things lol.

I never even said any of those things and all these girls just came in one time in a thread i had just posted in and all they did was attack how i looked, they said how fake my boobs looked-MEANWHILE THEY'RE real, and some girls actually said yeah i can tell they're real...So when that was done with they were like well how fake are your lips and again they're real, then they went on about my nails and again those are real lol...Then talking about fh and how he dresses and looks lol, these were all people who didn't live in NY and to them NY styles are a bit outrageous...And everytime they saw me in threads they would say something lol, which is pretty pathetic.

I'm realy sorry to hear you had that experience. You've been nothing but nice and helpful to me - they sound stupid and judgmental. It's no new news that girls can be catty when other chics have bigger tatas and nicer lips! (and apparently we can add cuter Fhs and Erings to that list)

I don't post on the knot at ALL but I have found the bios to be REALLY helpful . . . I don't understand why a day about uniting has to turn into something so superficial

haha thank you again ...hmmm I don't think so, i thought i saw it on the 07 board but i can be wrong...I do know when we started this a few weeks ago the person who said we should do it did mention they saw it on another board...Maybe 06? not sure

have you tried the LONG ISLAND boards?? They are sooo different than the others.. no snarkiness at all...i swear!! I actually used the knot more during my planning b/c it was such a friendly group of girls on the Long Island planning boards... the others arent nice at all!! I didnt know about LIW till way later... but i promise we're really nice over there!!

I know people who post their weddings on the knot and have to been to weddings that are posted on the knot.

Trust me they are just regular weddings (normal budgets), just totally puffed up to show their best parts. Like a resume. For example you can have one fabulous arrangement on the placecard table and small little regular centerpeices on the dinner tables (which one would you take a picture of?)

Totally misleading to make it seem like this crazy platinum wedding. I don't blame them, people are proud of their weddings. They want to show off the best parts.

Stay here if its not your thing.

I have dropped in on the LI forum, only thing is that its pretty slow on there....But yes they are very nice on there, also the New york board everyone is nice and very helpful there too and ive never seen drama on there

i agree. i've always been on both LIW and the LI board on the knot. there are other boards like Advice from Brides and Planning & Etiquette...that are deceptive in name--cause both those boards have NOTHING to do with their name sakes.

the LI boards on the knot have slowed down lately, but its always been drama free there, for the most part!

I just started venturing more on to LIW since the LI Board on theknot has been slow and I wanted to checkout LIW....since I've heard somany great things about the boards here. you guys are great!! the LI and NYC boards are probably the only safe places to go on theknot. I've just lurked on the Planning & Etiquette board and it makes your skin want to crawl that these girls have nothing better todo than to downright bash and rip apart other people. if someone is new to the board and asks a question they think is silly they will just ridicule the poor girl. it's just awful.

just stick to the LI or the NYC boards if you can I guess it's just girls like us that understand eachother. I don't know

Yes that is exactly what they will do, on Planning and etiquette i havent had a problem on there really, but i do see them do that ALOT, it was another board lol
