so- I go on the Knot message board because I was trying to create a bio so someone I know could easily look at all my wedding stuff.. So, I post a simple question about finding help--- and all these girls start to attack!! Despite the fact that the board is not user friendly (at least not like this one), those girls are major biatches!
No wonder why there are so many knottie converts here!

I just appreciate this site so much more after going there for like 5 mins! I have posted things here and there, but never have asked a question for help or anything.
I have seen other girls post here saying that the community wasn't the same there as it is here-- just add another post to that file!

That sucks! I never had anything like that happen, but it's definitely not as user friendly. Let me know if you still need help setting up your bio. In addition to the Knot bio, I also put a bunch of pictures of wedding ideas into a Snapfish album which has been really good. Good luck!

If it's pictures, yes - you can create a photo album here very easily. I just learned about this recently as well. Just click on 'My Wedding' and 'Photo Albums' and follow the instructions.

I went on the other day, and it seems as if these ppl from other boards came on to start trouble, bc I saw a few posts going , who the hell are these ppl..they were making fun of everyone....one post was like I have a four carat diamond, and you don't, bc I live on LI and you don't...obviously immature ppl that have nothing better to do

Yeah, in the past few days there have been an influx of 'outsiders' onto the Long Island board--apparently they got kicked off other boards, so they are all swarming the other boards because they have nothing better to do. Can you even imagine anyone would consider marrying those girls? YIKES!
Otherwise, the REAL LI girls are, in general, nice and helpful.

Oh yeah, stay away from planning & etiquette (P&E)--they are insane over there! The girls on the local boards, NYC and LI are actually really nice.

and what's with all the obscene and vulgar postings? it doesnt seem like theknot removes any of these postings. I just went on to 'plannign and ettiquette' and most of the posts are very disturbing and are not wedding related. thank god liw is not like that!
