so- I go on the Knot message board because I was trying to create a bio so someone I know could easily look at all my wedding stuff.. So, I post a simple question about finding help--- and all these girls start to attack!! Despite the fact that the board is not user friendly (at least not like this one), those girls are major biatches!

No wonder why there are so many knottie converts here!

I was lurking there over the weekend and they all ganged up on one girl. Somehow they found out her home phone number and started harassing her over the phone. It's sick!

I know! They threatened to 'google' her and next thing you know she's posting about how people were calling her. See what I mean when I call it 'stalkers anonymous'??

I don't like that site at all. I set up our wedding stuff on weddingchannel.com. The site's even easier to navigate than The Knot.

i'm so sorry to hear that!!

i got totally attacked on there when posting a very understandable vent (something we do alot around here and get lots of for if we need them!)

A bunch of girls told me to get my act together and stop whining. A few were really cruel. I posted on the relationship board, and I hear they can get snippy.

Who knows...I still go over there for additional resources, but this is my home!

I only go on that site to be entertained and lurk around. I would never ask a question on that board - mostly because I just don't like the layout.

Before I found LIW, I tried searching through a bunch of sites and this one is by far the most helpful for me. It is more user friendly and it focuses more on this particular area!

I have also found many of the people on the LI board to be helpful, but I stay away from the other boards- there are some real loons out there.

There are some trolls on the Knot, but there are also very nice people on the LI and NYC boards. They get annoyed at the trolls, too, and have been sending e-mails to get them banned. Don't get these people down - there are always people willing to help.

Sorry to hear that! I've been a Knot member for a few months...so far, the soon-to-be's and the newlyweds were pretty helpful! Not too many LIers on there, though...that's why I use this one every once in a while...
