The Metropolitan
Hi ladies,Anyone having their wedding at the Metropolitan or been to a wedding there recently? I'm looking for any feedback, but particularly on how many guests were able to be seated on the main floor. My fiance and I are hoping to have around 130 and we definitely don't want to split up the tables between upstairs and downstairs. (Luckily we wouldn't be having our ceremony there so that would free up the large room for cocktail hour).
I love the look of the venue so I really hope it would be able to accommodate everyone. We are going back for a second visit/tasting so I am going to ask but any input would help as well. Thanks!!

Thats where we're getting married in March! We have 140 on the list, and that will be fine for the reception space with room to spare. I've been there for a wedding in 2007 that had around 180, and there was seating upstairs as well.
The food is incredible! We had our tasting about a week after signing the contract, and the cake is out of this world as well! I can't speak enough great things about the communication and accomodations! Feel free to FM me for more info!

Re: The Metropolitan
I was there last October. Great place! But too many people were on one floor. They didn't have anyone upstairs either so it was a bit cramped, not gonna lie. Like back to back with the other tables. I'm not sure how many people they had though.Welcome New Vendors
