What do you do to keep yourseld motivated and to stay on track, to keep losing weight, eating right and exercising??
I always try to picture myself where I want to be and what I will be wearing when I get there.
Another thing that I do is I will buy an anticipation outfit and make it be my motivation
I reward myself with nice w/o outfits whenever I reach a goal.
As they say, nothing taste as good as thin feels, my gf told me this is from her WW meeting. I like that a lot
I love to exercise, so there I do not need too much motivation, when I feel like my workouts are getting redundant and not challenging me anymore, I try different classes, african dance, aqua aerobics, boxing etc.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

Morning all, hope your weekend was one of great choices. I feel rather slim today, I get those days, when I feel as if I could just let my midsection just hang out, or wear a fitted shirt.....LOL I feel good today. I am off to the gym at lunch for some toning. See you all lata.
Here are your quotes for today

Re: THE MOTIVATION & GOALS THREAD
Mary, you have self control you see that?? aren't you proud?? and even if you had it nothing was wrong, everything in moderation, as long as you did not eat the whole box.
Any updates from anyone this week on anything they want to tell us?? good, bad or indifferent. This is your AA of making wiser choices and eating healthier and leading healthier lifestyles.

Re: THE MOTIVATION & GOALS THREAD
Thanks Shamma and Scott. I am doing WW and yes I exercise with it, I have to. I do my own thing on the weekend (eat what I want) so the exercise helps. I'd love to lose another 25 so hopefully that will happen. And I really feel good when I exercise! I firmly believe you can't do one without the other.
I heard someone say that for people to maintain what they have lost, they must exercise! 2000 steps a day (about a mile) will burn 100 calories, think about that!!!
Thanks Everyone!!!

Re: THE MOTIVATION & GOALS THREAD
Morning everyone, here is your motivational quote for today. I hope you all have a wonderful day.
'Every memorable act in the history of the world is a triumph of enthusiasm. Nothing great was ever achieved without it because it gives any challenge or any occupation, no matter how frightening or difficult, a new meaning. Without enthusiasm you are doomed to a life of mediocrity but with it you can accomplish miracles.'

Re: THE MOTIVATION & GOALS THREAD
Stacey, I am doing WW too! I am doing it online because there is no close place over here. It has been about 3 weeks and I lost 8 pounds so far. That is great all the weight you lost. I love WW you get to eat whatever you want. I was on LA Weightloss and hated it! You can only eat certain foods. Good Luck to you and let us know your progress!
Oh and thanks for putting that smiling face back on, I love that picture!

That sounds great. I wanted to do a WW recipe thread because I have made so many that are good but no one ever contributed.

Re: THE MOTIVATION & GOALS THREAD
I just wanted to say that I'm feeling smaller.
I haven't weighed in yet this week, but I just FEEL smaller to myself. My pants are a little loose, so I'm Happy.
Everyday I wake up and I do a little inspection, and if I think about how I feel, and if I feel just a teensy bit smaller than I felt yesterday, I'm happy.
This is probably ludacris (sorry for spelling it like the rapper, but the coffee hasn't kicked in yet), but I like it.

Re: THE MOTIVATION & GOALS THREAD
Rachel, I know that feeling all too well. I walked over to my co-worker and told her that I feel really slim today and wearing black makes me even smaller. When you weigh in please let us know the results.
Stace, there is a WW recipe thread on the Recipe board you can add your own WW or any other recipe for that matter to it.
Cookie welcome. How is doing WW online???

Another just b/c

Re: THE MOTIVATION & GOALS THREAD
Shamma, I love doing WW online. They even have boards there you can go for support and questions. Also I have a Pocket PC I was able to download all the Restarant and Fast Food places and then you can see what points are for what you want to order. They have some great recipes...I can go on and on. I did it before at meetings but like this much better.

Re: THE MOTIVATION & GOALS THREAD
Way to go ladies...You are a motivation!
Here's motivation - did anyone see the NYC marathon this weekend? Holy cow people are so determined...over 98% of people finish and that course is damn hard (my FI is one of the 98+%!)
Now if I could only bottle that up and use it when I need it! (like this week with all the leftover candy floating around!)
Going shopping for clothes today - nothing fits (for good reasons!) and I need nice clothes for a trip in 2 days!
