THE MOTIVATION & GOALS THREAD

Original post by shamma

What do you do to keep yourseld motivated and to stay on track, to keep losing weight, eating right and exercising??

I always try to picture myself where I want to be and what I will be wearing when I get there.

Another thing that I do is I will buy an anticipation outfit and make it be my motivation

I reward myself with nice w/o outfits whenever I reach a goal.

As they say, nothing taste as good as thin feels, my gf told me this is from her WW meeting. I like that a lot

I love to exercise, so there I do not need too much motivation, when I feel like my workouts are getting redundant and not challenging me anymore, I try different classes, african dance, aqua aerobics, boxing etc.

Shamma my goal weight is 160. I have 3.6 pounds to go. Danielle and I both went off the diet for that week because....That weekend was our year anniversary, and I made a really good, really fattening dinner for the two of us...then the next day we went to a christening and ate really well. The rest of the week I tried to eat sensible but I slipped a few times....Thats why I didnt weigh in that week

I need motivation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I haven't done ANYTHING about losing weight.

I don't know why, either!

I can't figure out why I am so darned stubborn about losing weight.

I went from 145 to 120lbs on Atkins....(6 months!)

I have my first fitting to day.

Size 10/12 to a 4 (even fit in to a 2 in some things!)...

Three pounds to go to hit my target.

Motivation? BEING ABLE TO HAVE A REASON TO GO AND BUY NEW CLOTHES!!!!

Real courage is when you know you're licked before you begin, but you begin anyway.
