This was an anniversary present from my husbands parents
It was for our 1st annviersary and it took us forever to pick out-- we did receive it back in the summer and DH just put it up today!!!!

Thanks ladies--- My MIL was very insistent(sp?) that we get a clock-- I didn't care either way(no one in my family has one) but DH was on the fence and kind of wanted one--- which is why it took us soooo long to pick one out--and oh yeah cause they cost a million dollars!!!!!
This is a Singh- a hand wind (DH didn't want battery) and it was about $900-- crazy in my opinion but we didnt pay for it!!!
It was really difficult to find a clock that was not super ornate since that is not our style at all--this one was close to perfect since the molding matches most of our furniture throughout the house--the only part that is not 'us' is the brass/gold details--- but they dont jump out at you!!!

I love it. I would love something like that for our living room. Our dining room is more like a kitchen area, so it wouldn't work there.

Thanks everyone--the funny part is DH is still trying to get the time perfect!!!! He was winding it and timing it all night last night!!!! Glad it is his 'pet project'
