The Next Crop - Dec 27th

THE CROP IS GOING TO BE SATURDAY DECEMBER 27TH FROM 11-5. I'M THINKING OF CHINESE FOR LUNCH THIS TIME

Well, yesterday was the First Annual Day After Thanksgiving Crop at the Scrapbook Patch in Miller Place. I heard from many a people they wanted another crop. Renee suggested a Friday Night Crop from 7-12. What are peoples thoughts on that? Sticking with the 'Day After' Theme, how about Friday December 26th? If we decide on an all day crop, they might require a deposit or pre-payment

The Scrapbook Patch, 25A in Miller Place 631-331-4533

DIRECTIONS

From the West
Take the LIE to exit 63N (North Ocean Ave) all the way to the end, to 25A E, then its about 2 1/2 lights on the left in the Friendly's shopping center.

From the East
Take the LIE to exit 68N (William Floyd Parkway) to the end, 25A West, no idea- about 5-8 mins, past wendy's and Stop and Shop, make a right into the friendly's shopping center.

Nora I would love another crop. Here is my problem though- a crop at night, is a long ride home for some of us and going there we might get caught in some heavy rush hour. I know I would be sitting on Sunrise or the LIE for quite awhile. I would love a Sunday or Saturday DAY after the holidays!

I agree with swags about the rush hour traffic. I myself do prefer a Sunday crop over a saturday.

Is there a limit to how many people can go? I have a small group of friends who are all just beginning to get into scrapbooking, and we might all like to go. Any date is fine with me. It would be great to meet you all.

dec 26 is no good for me...since I am out of town....but the next sat crop you guys plan let me know...and I'll see if I can make a little visit back to NY

I am in for any Saturday Crops..

Friday nights depend on what time, as I depend on Brian or a babysitter to take care of my little cookie-bear!
The day after X-mas isn't good for me too many sides of brians family or just one day!

I talked to Renee, she said she doesn't have anything for Dec 27th. What time do we want to have it?

As far as food goes, last time I was at the store Renee had chinese food, it was really good. We can order from the lunch special menu until 3pm.

megan - i may be wrong but from what i thin i've been told.. a crop is an all day scrapbooking gtg! i'm working on getting my butt to one.. one of these days with lisa rose! right lisa? lol

Yes- a crop is a bunch of people who GTG and work on the Scrapbooks. This one is held in a store which is cool because if you need paper, its right there and you can get great ideas and use some of the stores tools.

This crop will be from 11-5, with a chinese lunch, and NO STINKY BAGS.
